Comic Books and Money Report

Now that #4 is out, I started mentioning #5 ("Whispers Across Time") more. We work on it with Reginaldo Don Santos who is doing the art and P.R.Soliver is doing the colors ( fully a Brazilian team ). We are somewhere around page 26 with that, I expect to have around 10 more pages to finish. Then of course, there is the work of #6 ("Canvey Island Suicides") where the pencils are done by Patrick O'Donnell, inking and backgrounds by P.R.Soliver and the coloring is done by Nimesh. We did have kind of pause with that one, but hopefully the work will pick up soon - we are around page 12 with the inking and Nimesh is coloring page 6 currently. So, I guess we are 1/3rd in. And number #7 , the artwork is done by Christian Culicelli, and the base coloring will be done by Detriza... I'm talking about possibly of including Michal ko (lordmiste_trailrunner_art on Instagram) for more detailed rendering of Mrs.G body after that, but we will see if he can find time for that. But we will probably do an experiment to see how much time it would take, and if we will be happy with the results. STARTING WORK ON #8!!! The exciting news for me, is that I'm starting a test with a new artist - Daniele Caviglia for the number #8. He will do couple of pages for me for #8 starting next week, and if everything goes well, that would mean start of Mrs.G comic #8. I fell in love with this page he has created , and think that kind of noir feeling would fit the story I'm planning for #8. So... NOW I NEED TO THANK YOU GUYS AGAIN!!! YOUR SUPPORT ON MY PATREON MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE! If it isn't for you guys, I would stop making comics right away. The comics itself, even if it gets e.g. 400 sales, will bring around $1000 of profit for me total. Which might not sound bad, but creating the comics costs probably more like $3000-$4000 for a single comic. So, the way it works now, is that I'm using your support from Patreon, to pay the artists. In fact your Patronage brought more money than it was needed, so money started accumulating on my Patreon account, but I found a solution for that - I actually started giving the artists more money, for their work. They fully deserve every penny! (And I introduced the free merch, around 100 of you received the stickers (if you are in $5 or $15 tier for more than 3 months, and haven't received it, you probably haven't entered your address in your account). I think the first couple of mugs are already shipped too, I'm excited to start getting pictures from both, please send more! :) Depending on the money that is accumulating, I am also considering that after few months we will phase out the mugs (so everyone that is waiting for them gets them), but introduce some clothing or a poster instead. So, thanks again, and I hope I'm repaying enough for your support with my content here and in the comics we make... ❤️❤️❤️
