Discarded Page (from 'Lens of Lies')

As you probably know, I'm relatively new to the comic books. I have tried writing other forms, but I "discovered" comics this year, and I fell in love with trying to tell stories through them. Anyway, you can't create comics as a writer alone, you need artists to bring your vision to life. So I looked for and tried working with multiple people. I discovered couple of fantastic artists this way, but with other things didn't work out.  This is one such artist - it is an example page, which I commissioned from them, but I didn't continue working with them.  While the page might look pretty good, their English wasn't the best, so it took A LOOOOT of time to get to something that looks like something that I had in mind (and still not quite what I requested :) ).  And really, from what I've seen for creating comic books, the quality of illustration/drawing is important, but as important, if maybe not more important, is the ability of the artist to understand and then figure out the best composition, not just for an individual panel, but for all 5-6 panels as they are placed on the page. I've been lucky to meet such artists too, where they do what you request to the smallest detail in your script, but then you can also, just give very basic description, and they will figure out the details, making things more interesting than I could ever imagine. Anyway, I'm currently reworking 'Lens of Lies' script, and I hope I will find someone to work with on it, next year.
